A line of customers has been forming in front of an Apple store on Houston Street in New York since Friday morning. The purpose is to buy Apple’s new product ‘iPhone Pocket‘. Such a crowd has been seen in Apple stores since the launch of this limited edition product. This product, priced at $ 150 to $ 230, looks like a sock. Apple says that they have taken this initiative inspired by the ‘idea of creating extra or additional pockets’.

In fact, the iPhone Pocket is a kind of wearable smartphone sling or bag. This product made of woven fabric looks like a sock. Apple has created it jointly with famous Japanese fashion designer Issei Miyake.

Miyake is well known for creating Apple co-founder Steve Jobs’ iconic black turtleneck (long-collared sweater). Since this fashion brand has a large number of fans, the iPhone Pocket immediately spread craze among buyers when it came to the market.

Lee Eisner, a 26-year-old fashion designer from New York, said, ‘It’s a very nice design. Because it’s made by Issey Miyake. I heard it was already sold out. That’s when I decided I wanted this too.’ Lee said he wanted to buy the large black iPhone case, but it was already sold out.
Apple has launched the iPhone case in two sizes and several colors. The short or small one costs $150, and the long or large one costs $230.

It comes in a rainbow of colors and is 3D-knitted so it can hold any size iPhone. It can also hold AirPods or lip balm if needed. Its shape and texture are similar to a karate belt. It can be worn in a variety of ways—hanging it on your body, tying it to your bag, or holding it in your hand.

According to Apple’s website, the product will be available at only 10 retailers worldwide. In the United States, it will only be available at an Apple Store located south of Houston Street in New York. It will also be available in stores outside the United States in cities such as London, Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris.
Meanwhile, all colors and sizes were sold out as of Friday morning when the product was available online.

Owen Sanders, a 29-year-old New York resident, said he was able to buy a small pink iPhone pocket for his wife from the Houston Street store. He said, “My wife really likes Issey Miyake’s designs. Even today, when someone wears a black turtleneck, people say – he looks like Steve Jobs. And that’s because of this Miyake. That’s what makes sense to me.”

There is a lot of discussion and criticism on social media about the price of Apple’s new product. Many wrote that it is “incompatible” with the difficult economic situation. Many wrote sarcastically, “It seems like Apple made it for fun.”

However, Issey Miyake fans say that not everyone will understand its value. “It’s not just an accessory, it’s a work of art or a collectible fashion item,” says content creator Michael Josh.

Apple has made expensive accessories in the past. For example, Apple previously made a $19 polishing cloth and a $999 monitor stand.

The company has recently become interested in turning the iPhone into a “wearable” device. Last September, Apple launched an iPhone crossbody strap, a trend that has been popular in Asia for years. It was priced at $59.
