South Africa Clinch First Test Series Win in India in 25 Years
What was meant to happen happened. Chasing a target of 549 runs set by South Africa in the Guwahati Test, India lost by 408 runs. India, who finished the fourth day yesterday at 27 for 2, were all out for 140 runs on the fifth and final day today. This is India’s biggest defeat in terms of runs in a Test. With this, South Africa defeated India 2-0 in the two-Test series on their home soil. South Africa also won the Test series after 25 years on Indian soil.
