Paneer steamed pie
Winter is coming. All kinds of delicious pithapuli will be made with new rice. Traditional pithas will be made, along with this, you can surprise your loved ones by making one or two fusion pithas. For you, culinary artist Maryam Hossain Nupur has sent the recipe and pictures of bhapa pitha made with paneer.
Ingredients
2 cups of atap rice powder, salt as required, a little warm water, half a cup of Dhakai paneer, 1 chopped green chili, 2 teaspoons of chopped mint leaves, 1 teaspoon of chopped coriander leaves.
Method
Mix the rice powder with salt and water, mix well and sieve it through a sieve. Cut the paneer into small cubes and mix it with chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves and chillies.
Let the water boil in a narrow-mouthed pan. Pour the rice powder and paneer mixture in three layers in the pitha mold. For this, first make a layer with a small amount of rice mixture. On top of that, make the second layer with the cheese mixture. On top of that, finish with the third layer with the rice powder mixture. Now cover the mold tightly with a wet thin white cloth and place it with the cloth in the mouth of the pot of boiling water. Then remove the mold and cover the flour mixture with the cloth. Steam it like this for three to four minutes. Then remove the lid and take the pitha out of the cloth and serve it hot.
