National Student Power’s central and DU committees announced, Quader not present
A four-member central committee of Jatiya Chhatra Shakti, an affiliate of the National Citizens Party (NCP), has been formed and was officially announced on Friday night.
However, the name of Abdul Quader, the convener of the DU branch of ‘Bagsas’ and DUCSU VP candidate, was not seen in any of the top positions of the newly announced committee.
This information was given in a release signed by the organization’s general secretary, Abu Baker Majumder.
The release said that Jatiya Chhatra Shakti debuted on October 23 through the reorganization of the Bangladesh Democratic Student Union (Bagsas). A week after its debut, the central committee was formed. Bagsas member secretary Zahid Ahsan is its president. Bagsas convener Abu Baker Majumder has become the general secretary. Abu Tauhid Md. Siam (northern region) and Mohir Alam (southern region) are the organizing secretaries of the committee.
It is also said that the central committee of the National Student Power, which emerged through the reorganization of the Bangladesh Democratic Student Congress, has been formed. The full committee will be published within the next seven working days.

In a separate notification today, it was also announced that the Dhaka University branch committee of the National Student Power will be formed.
Tahmid Al Muddassir Chowdhury has been appointed as the president of the Dhaka University branch committee, while Al Amin Sarkar has been named the general secretary, and Md. Saifullah will serve as the organizing secretary.
It has been informed that the full committee of the DU branch will also be published within the next seven working days.
