Body parts found in drum near High Court, another filled with rice
A mutilated body was recovered from a drum in the High Court area next to the National Eidgah ground of the capital. The incident occurred around 6:30 pm on Thursday evening. Shahbag police station in-charge (OC) Khalid Mansoor told Ajkar Patrika that the mutilated body was recovered inside a small blue drum left on the footpath in front of a water pump at the corner of the High Court Shrine Grounds. The dead body could not be identified. Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ramna Division Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Masud Alam said that two drums were lying next to the Eidgah ground. In one there was a dead body and in the other there was rice. CCTV footage is being collected from the area to investigate how the incident happened.
