BNP suspends nomination of one candidate
A day after the announcement of probable candidates, the BNP has suspended the party nomination of a candidate for the 237 seats for the 13th National Parliament election. This information was given in a press release signed by senior joint general secretary of the party Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Tuesday.

Party general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the names of the candidates at a press conference at the political office of the BNP president in Gulshan on Monday, the release said. At that time, the name of Kamal Zaman Mollah nominated for Madaripur-1 (Shibchar Upazila) constituency out of 237 parliamentary constituencies was also announced. Madaripur-1 Constituency and declared names of party candidates have been suspended due to unavoidable reasons.
