Shakib Al Hasan has played in various franchise leagues around the world in his long career. He will debut in the Abu Dhabi T-10 League this month. The former Bangladesh captain is eagerly waiting to play in this tournament. Shakib will play for Royal Champs in T-10 league. The new season of T-10 League will start on November 18 with the match between Quetta Cavalry and Northern Warriors. The next day i.e. on 19th November, Royal Champs will take the field against Vista Riders. If all goes well, Shakib will make his debut in the 10-over tournament with that match. Royal Champs included him in the team last month.
Even though Shakib is out of the national team, he is not away from cricket. The star all-rounder is playing in franchise leagues in different countries. In the last few months, Shakib has played in tournaments like Caribbean Super League (CPL), Minor League Cricket and Canada Super Six. This time another tournament experience will be added to his career. Expressing his feelings, Shakib said, “I am very happy to join Royal Champs and get the opportunity to play in the Abu Dhabi T-10 League. This new edition is very exciting. I want to give my best for the team. To do well in this edition, you need strength, speed, intensity and team performance. I believe we can do well in the tournament.” Shakib is confident about his team. He believes that Royal Champs will be able to repay the fans’ faith, “It is challenging to play for this team (Royal Champs). We have great cricketers. We are ready to do something good for the fans. I am ready and very focused for the first match against Vista Riders.”
